I am a Tenure Track Researcher in Social Statistics at the Department of Statistical Sciences of the University of Padova. 

I completed my PhD in Statistics at the Department of Statistical Sciences of the University of Padova with a thesis entitled “Propensity score techniques in multiple treatments framework: the estimation of neighbourhood effect”, winning the Award for the best PhD theses in Applied Statistics of the Italian Statistical Society. 

My research interests regard methods on constructing composite indicators, based both on classical and on multi-criteria approaches, such as Partially Ordered Set Theory, applied in particular to the evaluation of gender equality and for the identification of frail subjects and causal inference approaches, applied in particular to the study of neighbourhood effects on health.

I am Principal Investigator of a FIS3 project called DIAMOND - "Data Integration Approaches for a Multidimensional hOlistic representation of Neighbourhood Deprivation" (https://www.stat.unipd.it/en/diamond), granted through a highly selective national competition, funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research.

Outside the world of statistics, I'm conducting a long-term study on the chaos theory of family life with my husband, two kids, and two canine co-investigators.
