ABOUT
I am a postdoctoral researcher in Philosophy, currently collaborating with the Department of Philosophy at Sapienza University of Rome. At the same department, I completed a BA in Philosophy with a thesis on Metaethics and an MA with a thesis on Philosophy and Life Sciences, where I introduced non-neural and plant behaviour studies in relation to philosophical research. I subsequently obtained my PhD in Philosophy from the Department of Philosophy at Sapienza University of Rome. My doctoral research focused on the philosophical implications of plant behaviour and non-neural cognition, at the intersection of Philosophy of Cognitive Science, Philosophy of Biology, and Epistemology. During my PhD, I conducted a research visit at the MINT Lab, University of Murcia. I subsequently held a postdoctoral position at the Mind(the)Plant Lab, University of Padua. Among my most significant publications is the book “Philosophical Implications of Plant Cognition: A Pluralistic Overview” published by Springer (2025).
