ABOUT
I am a postdoctoral researcher in Philosophy, currently collaborating with the Department of Philosophy at the University of Rome La Sapienza. At the same department, I completed a BA in Philosophy with a thesis on Metaethics and an MA with a thesis on Philosophy and Life Sciences, where I introduced non-neural and plant behaviour studies in relation to philosophical research. I subsequently obtained my PhD in Philosophy from the Department of Philosophy at the University of Rome La Sapienza. My doctoral research focused on the philosophical implications of plant behaviour and non-neural cognition, at the intersection of Philosophy of Cognitive Science, Philosophy of Biology, Epistemology, and Biosemiotics. During my PhD, I conducted a research visit at the MINT Lab, University of Murcia. I subsequently held a postdoctoral position at the Mind(the)Plant Lab, University of Padua. Among my most significant publications is the book “Philosophical Implications of Plant Cognition: A Pluralistic Overview” published by Springer (2025).
