Ethical Loser
By Margarida Constantino
Her with capital H, and the ever dancing, singing, shouting, weight of humanity.
‘Ethical Loser’ is an interdisciplinary performance that unfolds somewhere between concert, ritual, lecture, and choreographed collapse.
Prayer, witchcraft, manifestation, placebo and quantum theory appear not as opposites to the ‘here and now’, but as competing interfaces for understanding divine forces, collective action and survival. The performer searches for faith inside technological loneliness, asking whether belief can still transform reality - the apocryphal reality where there are only two genders and hers is the bad one.
Before God, she does not offer redemption or moral clarity, yet embraces contradiction entirely by asking Her: What are we going to be remembered for?
Neither innocent nor guilty, neither solution nor victim, but something monstrous enough to resist.
