Efforts

The efforts of Marine Restoration Fund include removal of litter contamination in reefs and other marine ecosystems. Some of the most common materials found include fishing lines and hooks, which get tangles in reefs and marine fauna, causing irreparable damage. However, highly dangerous and toxic materials can also be found in coral reefs, including batteries, which contain chemicals that would kill miles of coral reefs.
