Open postdoc position funded by the MASH grant Topological Methods in Discrete Mathematics led by Marek Filakovský
Selected MASH Topics:
Topological methods and the Constraint Satisfaction Problem: Application of topological methods in proving hardness of (P)CSP instances, homotopy of hypergraphs, CSP dichotomies.
Simplicial complexes: Embeddings and Tverberg-type problems, Analysis of graph properties using simplicial complexes and their topological and combinatorial features.
The applicant will further be able to pursue their independent research and collaborate with other members of the department

Requirements:

- Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field, awarded no earlier than 8 years ago (exceptions due to personal circumstances may apply),
