The Behavioural Health Centre, which is situated in the centre of Kuala Lumpur, provides a comprehensive temporary residential program for people with non-communicable diseases such as obesity, heart disease, and hypertension. It blends temporary housing for preventive care with therapeutic, fitness, and nutritional amenities in an effort to empower and heal. A lively semi-open atrium at the centre of the design effortlessly connects program participants with the general public, promoting a sense of support and belonging and reducing the isolation that people with chronic illnesses frequently experience. It is a haven of wellbeing where people can recover from hardships in a setting that fosters development, recovery, and camaraderie.
