 Our History

The Marcus' Lantern Fund was formed in 2008. The first fundraising event was a "spa day" held in our home in Willoughby Hills, Ohio, where we raised $3,500. The following year, the annual event grew and was moved to Wildwood Manor in Mentor, Ohio so that the friends of Marcus' Lantern could be accomodated in a large enough space. After many successful years at Wildwood Manor, and because of the growth of our events, the annual fundraiser transitioned to St. Noel Banquet Center in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. This event now consists of a reverse raffle and successfully supports disabled children from across the State of Ohio.
