The Marcus High School Black History Club (MBHC) was founded in 2002 on the campus of Edward S. Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas. The club was started by students, faculty, and parents who were interested in expanding the knowledge of African American history among students of all cultures at Marcus High School.Â
The Marcus Black History Club is open to all Marcus High School students who are interested in learning more about the history, traditions, and customs of African Americans. Some of our annual activities include HBCU College tours, workshops, Taste of Soul and the End of the Year Banquet .
