I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Economic Statistics and Econometrics at the University of Wuppertal and a visiting scientist in the Computational Statistics Group at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS). Prior to that, I held postdoctoral positions at the Institute of Statistics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and at HITS and was a substitute professor of econometrics at Goethe University Frankfurt, where I also completed my PhD in 2021.
My research interests lie in econometrics and statistics. I develop statistical methods and their theoretical foundations for applied problems. In particular, I work on forecast evaluation, probabilistic forecasting, uncertainty quantification, dependence measures, and time series analysis.
