I am a PhD candidate in Mathematics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, in Santiago, under the supervision of Giancarlo Urzúa. My research area is algebraic geometry, with a focus on merging classical topics and methods on surfaces, such as the classification of surfaces of general type, with new perspectives from three-dimensional birational geometry.
