1.     Production and analysis of eddy resolving projections of the physics and biogeochemistry of the Mediterranean Sea during the 21st century under RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 emission scenarios. These projections have been produced by the transport-reaction model OGSTM-BFM. These data, FAIR by definition, are available at https://dds.cmcc.it/#/dataset/medsea-cmip5-projections-biogeochemistry.

2.  Analysis of projections from the Med-Cordex ensemble of Regional Earth System Models of the cyclone activity in the Mediterranean region under emission scenario RCP8.5

3.      Analysis of cyclone activity in the Southern Hemisphere Cordex-Core Domains

1. Development and testing of Earth System Models in the Mediterranean region, in particular of a new configuration of the Regional Earth System RegCM-ES including a biogeochemical working model (BFM) online coupled to the ocean model MITgcm

2. Analysis of the influence of large-scale circulation patterns on the nutrient’s dynamics within the Mediterranean Sea

3. Analysis of the explosive cyclone activity on the global scale as reproduced by different detection and tracking schemes

4. Analysis of the links between cyclones and storm surges in the Mediterranean region
