Marco Islam

Welcome!

I am an Economist working at Copenhagen Economics. I received my PhD from Lund University in 2022 and thereafter worked at the University of Michigan.

My research interests lie in Behavioral Economics and Experimental Economics with applications to environmental, health and labor topics. I have papers in which I study how people assess present and future risks and why they demand affirmative actions. I also study the long-term nature of global problems, such as climate change, and investigate how it affects cooperative as well as coordinative behavior.
