I am an economist working in international finance and macroeconomics, currently Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair of Financial Markets at the University of Basel. 

My research focuses on the demand for and supply of safe assets and their influence on fiscal sustainability, capital flows, and exchange rates.

I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Lausanne. During my PhD, I visited the European Central Bank as PhD Trainee in the International Policy Analysis division, and the Bank for International Settlements as PhD Fellow.

I am on the Economics and Finance job market in the 2026/27 season. 

My job market paper is "Who drives the U.S. Treasury premium?".
