I am an economist working in international macroeconomics and finance, currently Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair of Financial Markets at the University of Basel.
My research focuses on the demand and supply of safe assets, with a particular interest in convenience yields and how they influence capital flows, portfolio choice, and exchange rates.
I recently completed a PhD in Economics at HEC Lausanne. During my PhD, I visited the European Central Bank as PhD Trainee in the International Policy Analysis division, and the Bank for International Settlements as PhD Fellow. I hold a MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a BsC in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University.
