As of February 2023, I am a research fellow at the University of Florence. Before this position, I have been a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bologna in the ERC project GENPOP. I have also been a post-doctoral researcher at the European University Institute, where I also awarded my PhD.

My main research interests are: population and children health, fertility,  social stratification, children development, parental response, fetal origin, quantitative methods, and causal inference 

My research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Demography, Population and Development Review, International Journal of Epidemiology, European Sociological Review, and European Journal of Population.
