As of September 2024, I am an Assistant Professor of Demography at the University of Florence. Prior to this position, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bologna, working on the ERC project GENPOP. I also held a post-doctoral research position at the European University Institute, where I completed my PhD.
My main research interests include population and children's health, fertility, social stratification, child development, parental responses, fetal origins, quantitative methods, and causal inference.
My research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Demography, Population and Development Review, International Journal of Epidemiology, European Sociological Review, and European Journal of Population.
