I was born and raised in Tuscany, Italy.
I earned my M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Pisa in 2015, followed by a PhD in Economics from the University of Siena (2019). My doctoral research focused on applied Game Theory, analyzing the influence of lobbying on policy and regulatory decisions. During my PhD, I spent six months as a visiting student at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
After completing my PhD, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pisa, specializing in Experimental Economics. In 2020, I joined the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics as a Lecturer in Economics. Since autumn 2024, I have been an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Department of Law, University of Pisa.
