Hello, my name is Marco Lopez. I'm from Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico. I completed my master's degree in software engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2017 and my bachelor's degree in computer science in 2016. I have been programming for over 7 years and love using programming for problem solving and helping others.
I love learning and new challenges, which is why I'm always striving to do and try new things.
I have been interested in technology since I was a kid. That's how I knew that computer science would be a natural fit as a career for me. It all started with the videogame console and the first computer my family got. I was fascinated by how they worked and what they could do. When I learned that I could become someone that can create things to be ran on these devices I was sold. My first idea was to develop videogames, but as I learned what programming was and its limitless potential I knew I had to dive into other branches of programming.
Since then, I have delved into several fields of programming through my education, work, and personal projects. Recently I have done projects with virtual reality and augmented reality through my work with Boost Human. I got to develop for Facebook's Oculus Rift and try my hand at Microsoft's HoloLens (1st generation).
Even more recently I have been doing mobile development through Google's Flutter.
