About Me

I am an enthusiastic and compassionate educator who focuses in engineering and computing higher education. My diverse background motivates me to value students' uniqueness and to apply my pedagogies with ever-changing technological opportunities. That is why I try to infuse pedagogies and technologies into my teaching and to help to train students professionally and holistically.

Currently I am with the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) at Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. I previously held faculty position in information engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and electronic and computer engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK(SZ)). 

My PhD and MSc degrees were in electronic engineering from CUHK, and my BSc (Hon) degree in computer engineering from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. In addition to my faculty positions at BCIT, CUHK and CUHK(SZ), my experience includes research position in integrated circuit designs and staff position in mobile and cloud computing. I am also involved in startups that apply edtech in improving students' learning experiences.
