APRIL 2023--PRESS RELEASE

Marcin Viiviivii, a rising indie underground artist, has recently released his latest music video for the song "Blue Flames / Red Sea" from his new album CLVT. The video is inspired by his personal struggles as an artist for over a decade and features references to the anime Blue Exorcist and the Biblical story of Moses parting the Red Sea.

The music video opens with Marcin sitting on his bed reading a Bible, setting the tone for the religious references throughout the video. It then moves into a clip of Marcin shaving his own head in a manic state, symbolizing his need for change and transformation. As the first hook hits, Marcin breaks out with a newly shaved head and a more clean-cut look than in previous videos, representing his growth as an artist.

The song itself has a rap/hip-hop genre with a style reminiscent of NF, Hopsin, and early MGK. Marcin's unique voice and delivery make the song stand out, and his lyrics about overcoming obstacles and pushing through adversity are relatable to anyone who has faced challenges in their life.

As the music video progresses, it transitions to Marcin at the Los Angeles River, where the sky is bright red, showcasing the switch between blue flames and the red sea. This transition represents Marcin's journey from his hometown of Portland, Oregon, to Los Angeles, where he now resides.

Throughout the video, there are references to the anime Blue Exorcist, which Marcin has stated is a significant influence on his music. The anime's themes of good vs. evil and the struggle between the human and demon worlds resonate with Marcin's personal struggles as an artist.

Overall, "Blue Flames / Red Sea" is a powerful music video that showcases Marcin Viiviivii's growth and evolution as an artist. The video's religious and anime references add depth and meaning to the lyrics, making it a unique and memorable experience for fans of rap and hip-hop. With his latest album CLVT and this new music video, Marcin Viiviivii has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with in the indie underground music scene.
