Marcin Kolasa is a Senior Financial Sector Expert at the International Monetary Fund and a Professor at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. His career spans some of the world's most influential economic institutions — including the European Central Bank, where he served as an Expert, and Columbia University in New York, where he was a Visiting Scholar. Prior to his current roles, he served as Head of Research, Director, and Economic Advisor at Narodowy Bank Polski (the National Bank of Poland). His research spans macroeconomics, monetary economics, international economics, and financial intermediation.
