A. The Concept :
Musical Notes is an “Instruction” that contains :
When (Timing)
What do you play (Notes, Instrument, Mallets, etc)
How do you play (Expression)
B. Type of Clef :
Percussion Clef

4. Tenor Alto Clef (Kunci C)
C. Note Values :
The amount of time of a note.
How long (beat) you play the note.
Note value is relative: it depends on the tempo (speed) of the music.
D. Time Signature :
The Concept :
To play music, you need to know its meter, the beat you use when dancing, clapping, or tapping your foot along with a song.
When reading music, the meter is presented similar to a fraction (pecahan dalam matematika), with a top number and a bottom number. We call this the song’s time signature.
The top number tells you how many beats are in a measure, the space between each vertical line (called a bar). The bottom number tells you the note value (the length) of each beat.
Example :

Time Signature : 4/4
Time Signature : 3/4
Time Signature : 6/8
Time Signature : 7/8
