MARCHING CHAGERS TO HOLD CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

Marching Chargers Association is Crest Band’s Booster Club.

BOILING SPRINGS, NC – The Marching Chargers Association is hosting a charity golf tournament on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Kings Mountain Country Club, 109 Country Club Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086, to fundraise for their 2023-2024 competition season. 

The Marching Chargers Association is a non-profit booster club supporting the Crest Middle School and Crest High School band programs.  The booster club’s efforts offset student costs for participation in competitions, purchase of uniforms, instrument repair costs, and band camp and performance expenses.  The annual budget for the Marching Band program is approximately $39,500.00, or $415.00 per band student.  Fundraising is necessary to keep costs low for our student performers.  Sponsorships are available also and can be placed through the organization’s website.  All donations are tax deductible.

The golf tournament’s registration information is as follows:
$70.00 Individual / $280 Team (4-Person Scramble)
Fee Includes: 18 holes of golf, cart, soda / water and catered lunch

7am - Registration
8am - Shotgun start
1pm - Lunch
