Johanna - Hello, group!

Hi this is Charzetta, can we chat here? Can everyone see which of us is saying what?

Johanna - We may have to start each chat with our names, like so

I'm reading the rubric and it made this task seem pretty simple, so I'm not quite sure what I'm missing.

Charzetta - I asked if each of us wanted to take a page to build out the website using one of the 9 Digital Citizenship's, listed on this paper: http://www.mimame.org/uploads/8/2/6/5/826513/mame37harristhemes4.pdf

Charzetta - I'm attaching the previous conversations from Google chat - never mind it will not let me.

Johanna - I'm not sure what you mean by each taking a page. As per the rubric, we need to work together and have different roles. For instance, one of us would be the organizer, content collector, etc. so we're all working together.

Charzetta - Since we are building this wiki website together our instructions I asked it we wanted each do a page so that we would cover all of the roles as well.

Johanna - So, we're all working on each page with our different roles. For example, let's say i'm the organizer. I would be contributing to every page.

Charzetta - It was only a suggestion, the safest way is to follow the exact instructions on the rubric with different roles.

Johanna - Totally! Suggestions are of course always encouraged in group projects. I don't want to take any risks haha!

Charzetta - Need to also get Lillian, Mirinie and Brittany...hummm...

Johanna - give me a second so i can rearrange our messages so they are more of a chat format.

Charzetta - Ok

Johanna - there we go! lol I will reach out to Lillian, Mirinie and Brittany by email and CC you! With everyone's different work schedules (and everything that's been going on recently), it might be difficult to get us all in the same place at the same time lol

Charzetta - Oh sorry, just now reading your post. I just did that and CC'd you.

Johanna - No worries! Now, let's get started! If everyone is ok with this, I am confident in taking over the site designer and organizer (SDO) role.

Charzetta - Yes. I can do the Multimedia & Graphics Designer.

Charzetta - I think we can cover these, but I'm anxious to hear from everyone else: 1. Digital Etiquette: electronic standards of conduct or procedure. 2. Digital Communication: electronic exchange of information. 3. Digital Commerce: electronic buying and selling of goods. These are just my 2 cents...

Johanna - I think those are good options, Charzetta! I can get started on the organizational aspect of things.

Charzetta - Sounds good to me. Once we agree on our three themes, I can start looking for graphics and media - if it is okay with everyone else.

Johanna - I'd say let's just get started, and if anyone prefers a different subject than the 3 above, we'll go from there. How does that sound?

Johanna - Welcome, Brittany! I just saw you pop up!

Brittany - heeeeeeeeey yaaaa'll !! Okay let me catch up.

Johanna - Hey! Charzetta and I agreed on 3 pages, but please give suggestions and speak up if you'd prefer a different topic. We've assigned roles to ourselves as well; I am SDO, so you'll see I have created all of our pages including intros on the home page (please write something about yourself and add a photo!) :)

Brittany - Okay, so I like Digital Etiquette & Communication. Commerce though, I am a little unsure of what we would cover in that, but I am cool with what you've discussed so far. There is 5 of us right? So maybe we can do 2 content locators, maybe 2 SDOs & 1 multi media designer?

Brittany - I'm torn, but I can work as the multimedia designer. But I also don't mind finding some content either

Johanna - Rubric suggest one SDO considering we might run into a 'too many cooks in the kitchen' situation with that one lol

Brittany - Makes sense lol. Okay so yeah i'm torn between which one, but I like the 3 Digital Elements we came up with. Actually, I prefer Digital Access. That's real important as educators!

Johanna - If you prefer another topic over commerce, please say so! This is a group project so every voice is equally as important! I completely agree with you, Brittany. (They're all valid topics, but you make a good point). Would you consider taking on the role of content locator? I think this is a role at least 2 of us should have (and I will likely help as well haha).

Brittany - Lol, Johanna what's your sign, zodiac wise? But yes, I will be a content locator!

Johanna - Terrific! Also, I'm afraid to say... I wish I could see your reaction because it's always priceless. Care to guess?

Brittany - Mhmmmm, I feel like you might be a Picses, Aries or like a Capricorn? Wowwww yup, I wasn't ready for that. I was banking on Pisces lol

Johanna - Omg i was holding my breath while you were typing lol, I'm a Scorpio. But I definitely identify with Aries (I hear they're hyper and all over the place lol). Why Pisces?

Brittany - Every pisces I meet is always ready to take lead, they like the control, Type A people, same with Aries! But yeah scorpio's are cool, I'm a gemini so we would get along ! Let me go complete my about me section you created! I like that idea of having that!

Johanna - Lol! That is so funny. I don't know much about astrology, but I started getting into it when people would ask my sign and their reaction was never positive. I guess Scorpios are supposed to be pretty coldhearted or something ahah. My boyfriend is a Picses and he is totalllllly not what you described, so that is so funny!

Britt - Men are from Mars so they always mess up the data! lol but yeah everyone's personality really varies. I always ask! Scorpio's & Gemini's get bad reps so that's how I know you're cool. We're misunderstood.

Johanna - I was gonna say, I have heard not great things about Geminis, but I've never not liked one! Maybe our personalities are terrible to everyone else, and that's why we get along haha

Britt - yeah that's exactly why!! lol. I'm a great gemini, but I fit the description sometimes. I'm hot & cold. There is no in between with me but i'm super chill I swear!

Lily - Hello! I am so sorry I am late to the party! My school has not officially closed and I am working remotely, teaching distant learning through ZOOM Classes, teaching an online class called "Creative Writing" and a Site Coordinator for our students at school - and most important (I am bias on this one), being a mom. My daughter is four and her daycare closed last week - so it's been a whole flip upside down of a life. But we are home and safe. I apologize that I have not been present in the whole beginning of this project. I read through all the comments - (Johanna) - it seems like you have had the most communication with the whole group - would you mind confirming what each group member current role is? I tried to check it through the chat and I just want to make sure. And was there any ideas of how to divide the work for the Mirinie and I? I feel like the SDO needs to be one person - so there are not too many hands organizing the information? And the website will have one solid feel to it. I would be happy to split the Multimedia and Graphic Designer Role? Maybe Charzetta and I can pick certain pages to work on?

  • Lily: Multimedia and Graphic Designer - "GRAPHICS"[Charzetta - added 4/5@3:19PM CST]
  • Charzetta: Multimedia and Graphic Designer - This is the individual who is responsible for finding and posting appropriate and relevant images and multimedia (such as videos) to the pages. This individual will be responsible for finding these resources and making sure they are good quality and relevant to the individual topics. I will do "VIDEO" and Lily says she'll do Graphics.[Charzetta - added 4/5@3:19PM CST]
  • Brittany: Content Locator -This is the individual who does the initial research and finds content to include on each of the wiki pages. The content should be reviewed and approved by all members of the team.
  • Mirinie: Content Locator [Charzetta - added 4/5@3:19PM CST]
  • Johanna: Site Designer and Organizer- This is the individual who is responsible for making sure the content looks professional and organized. While the Content Locator may put text onto the pages, it is the SDO’s responsibility to organize it within the pages and make sure all pages have a consistent look and feel.

4/3/20 @ 10am

  • Mirinie- Hi guys! Who does not have an assigned role like myself? It looks like I might have to share a role with someone? I like the tasks of the Site Designer and Organizer role. Johanna, can I work with you? What do you think? Also, should we try to set up a specific date and time to get on this so we can all chat together?
  • 4:23PM CST
  • Charzetta - The zodiac conversation is too too funny! I am very close with both Gemini's AND Scorpios but that's because MY zodiac sign IS the easiest to get along with people LOL...I am a Libra as long as our scales are balance and things stay peaceful we won't get rattled....LOL!!
  • Charzetta - Hi Lilly, Sure we can work together on the Multimedia and Graphics. Would you like split it to where I do Graphics and you do Multimedia and/or visa versa for each of the pages in wiki site?
  • Lily - Hi Charzetta! Yes that is a great idea! It makes more sense than making another page. I don't have a preference for one or another. Do you? If you do - just let me know!
  • Lily- Also, once we finalize the roles I think we are good to submit to the blackboard right? Do we have to publish the website yet?

This is what was for Unit 4:

Step 1: Submit your Google Account Information to the above link.

Step 2: Access Your Wiki Site

Step 3: Group Communication

Step 4: Assign Roles

Step 5: Select Topics

BTW: Everyone has such awesome profile pictures. I have to admit - I don't have many solo ones - my daugher is in all of them with me. Okay I found one - phew! And I am also a Scorpio!

Johanna - Hello, all! So, based on the rubric, it looks like SDO (my role) would get a little messy if there was more than one person organizing (not that I don't want to share, but I do understand how that could get messy). Content Locator can definitely be a shared role! As you guys have seen, I've set up the other 4 pages so we can get to work! Looks like this is all we really need to do this week. Once we have definite assigned roles, let's add them to our intro pages so that our professor can easily identify who's who and who's doing what! Sound good?

Lily - Yes! I agree with you that you should stay solo - not because I want you to do all the work - but it would be more work to figure out who was doing what! I am just waiting on Charzetta, then I will add my role to the home page. Thank you for getting us all on track!

Johanna - Awesome! As per the rubric, it looks like groups are supposed to be smaller than ours, so splitting tasks will hopefully make things a little less stressful (especially at a time like this). Having two Multimedia people should be fine, but we should really bring our A game with the graphics then! Of course I am willing to help with anything if needed, and I definitely encourage critique/notes on any design I've put together.

I'm going to start laying out each page in an aesthetically pleasing way lol, and let me know if there are any tips/tricks you want to share :)

8:08PM EST.

Mirinie- Bummed to have missed this conversation. Good point Johanna. Brittany, can I work with you as a Content Locator? BTW, I am a Pisces! lol!

Johanna - That's what Brittany thought I was! Supposedly Scorpios and Pisces are very compatible. My boyfriend (a Pisces) and I did a quiz and it was, like, over 90% compatibility lol.

4/4 @ 6:00pm EST.

Mirinie- Too funny!! This should be fun then.

Lily- For assignment purposes I am going to go ahead and say that I am doing the Graphics design for each page - Charzetta will complete the multimedia for each page.

4/4 @ 7:33 CST

Charzetta - Hi Lily, I just read your message, sorry i'd been on this so much in the beginning I had to catch up on some other things. I'll do video so we can get this part of the project done.

Charzetta - Hi Johannna, as the SDO if you could set a place or section on each page for photo/graphics and video this would help us in knowing what size(s) and layout to search for and where it they will be placed throughout the site. This will also help to keep a consistent look and feel for the site.

Lily - Hi Charzetta! - I hope that is okay! No need to apolgize - everything has been a bit crazy right now to say the least. I guess my "Scorpio" stepped in...ha ha. I also felt bad because I didn't want to make more work for anyone in the group. I like your suggestion to help with the uniform look for each page. Similiar to our "Home" page - which looks great! I am excited to work with you all!

Johanna - Hi, yes, that is the plan.

4/5 1:06pm

Britt - Hello everyone! I'm glad we have gotten our roles squared away! I have no problem locating the content with you Mirinie. Honestly, it is definitely going to alleviate some stress! I was thinking, & i'm not sure if Professor will be giving us more guidelines... But, what do want the purpose of our page to be about? what essential question are we trying to answer when focusing on Digital Etiquette, communication and access?

For example, looking at Digital Access: In order for someone to even practice digital citizenship, they have to have access, right? So I thought obviously include some statistics, also maybe have something about how lack of access can cause inequalities within education.. or maybe we can discuss something about giving young toddlers/kids access to technology the pros/cons, etc..

So what types of information do you ladies want to address when it comes to etiquette and communication? I'm going to make a list of topics that come to mind in each page and then we can rearrange it later. Feel free to add in !!

4/5 @ 12:26 PM CST

Charzetta - Hi Britt, I am good with whatever you and/or the group decides. I will look for video on the final decision(s). @Lilly as the other multimedia/graphics person are you good with looking for graphics based on the final decisions of the group?

4/5 @ 4:30PM EST.

Mirinie- Good question Britt! I like the idea of using statistics for Digital Access. What about applying how Digital Etiquette can effect an individual's reputation or manners based on what and how they are representing themselves online. How about comparing individual's behavior in a similar field and document how their etiquette style represents them from an online viewer? Digital Communication has only advanced from the 19th century, and will continue. So what about exploring/supporting how innovated trends in technology will continue to grow and how they will they incorporate themselves in the modern day world and it's communication style.

Of course opened to all ideas and inputs! These are just some of my general thoughts as we continue to think about what we will include when discussing our topics.

Lily - @ Charzetta Yes - I think that is a good way to go about it. I am happy to offer ideas, but with the graphics and videos, it sounds like we will be better off waiting until the content is on the page.

4/6 @ 12:47PM CST

Charzetta - @Lily, that is exactly what I was thinking. But I will add, I think "Development Access" would be a section of the topic for this group since most of the group seem to be in Pre-K-12

Johanna - I like that idea, Britt! I can also readjust the order of the pages so that access is first in line. As you'll see, I have started an identical layout for each page to make it easier for us but more aesthetically pleasing for the visitor. Please give me any feedback, notes, ideas, etc. I'm open to everyone's opinion of course! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help as well. For instance, content creators, if you want to bounce ideas off of us (like Britt has), I think that's a great way to work together! Keep up the good work, ladies! :)

04/08/2020

Johanna - Hi, all! I know it's not quite Sunday, but I'm just checking in to see how everyone's doing with their portions, and also everything that's been going on with COVID-19. I hope you're all staying safe and healthy! You'll see I have laid out the pages, so start filling in when you're ready and let me know if there's anything you'd like to change.

Lily- @Johanna Thank you for setting up the pages. They are easy to read and the lay out is clean and simple! I had a question about the graphics as Charzetta and I are working as a team to search for these. In the rubric it says to search for the multimedia and graphics and send them to the SDO (then you pick and choose? what goes in there right?) What would be the best way to send you the graphics and multimedia? Also, everything on my end is going okay with COVID-19. My days are really busy with distance learning and being a mom. I've not really gone out - which is tough, but it's okay. How are you doing with it all? Hope all is well.

4/9 @ 10:14AM CST

Charzetta - Hi, has a decision been made per Britts questions on which way to go regarding etiquette and communication and her Brainstorming notes below, she posted this back on 4/5? The decision will give me more direction and things to look for with media. I have some video to send to Johanna, SDO but the more details the better. Hope EVERYONE is taking extra special care!

4/9 @ 3:30PM EST.

Mirinie- Hi Team! I hope you are all well and safe. @Charzetta, I agree, have we made a decision on the direction we are moving in? I offered some suggestions but haven't heard any feedback. Should we revisit this? I am a little unclear of what content I am looking for since we have not all agreed on it.

4/9 @ 3:30PM CST

Charzetta - In order to get things moving on a bit. I am in agreeance with whatever the majority decides, I just want to know which information to provide to Johanna as our SDO for the wiki pages.

Lily @the group When we are talking about an essential questions if we stick to the three key concepts of "Education, Development, and Social" we could apply those to each page. Using the ideas that were brainstormed below:

  • Developmental Access: What are some benefits of giving children access to technology at a young age? Creating community - creating content/blog/PLE/ marketing
  • Educational Access: Why do some communities have more access than otherDoes access to technology hinder education? Advance education?
  • Social Access: Do adults & teens abuse their access to technology. Having social media

Then:

  • Development of Digital Communication - What is the evolution of this form of communicating? Statistics about how many people communicate digitally?
  • Digital Communication in Education - How do educators communicate digitally?
  • Social Media Digital Communication - How do individuals use digital communication? Companies? Marketing?

And:

  • Development of Digital Etiquette - Where did start? and Why?
  • Digital Etiquette in Education - What does it look like in education? The rulebook of "online etiquette? Is it followed?
  • Digital Etiquette in Social Media - Is there digital etiquette in social media? What does it look like?

These are just suggestions - but we are getting to end of the week - so we may have to make decisions the best we can so we can start to put the information up.

04/10/2020 @ 8:40am

Johanna - Good morning, all! Glad you're holding up well. I'm pretty easy peasy with content. Lily, those are fantastic brainstorming ideas! I will start to add some more sections for content including the above questions (which can always be adjusted of course). In terms of videos/photos, you can absolutely email to me and I can insert them! There are spots on each page for videos and photos, so please feel free to take charge of your task and post them! I'll be regularly checking my emails if you'd prefer to have me look them over first :)

I hope you guys have a great day, and that you're all staying safe and healthy. I have had a few people affected by COVID-19, and it makes it even scarier.

04/10/2020 @ 2:30pm

Johanna - Update! I'm on my lunch break. I have used Lily's suggestions above to create more space for content on each page. Go ahead and start putting stuff in and let me know what you think!

04/10/2020 @ 3:10pm CST

Charzetta - Thanks for the break down, hope everyone is staying safe. I will work on posting videos today. Some video may be able to be embedded as well as linked.

Brittany: Hey!! I been MIA, but I been reading everything you are saying and I am working on some ideas. I loved the ideas Lily brought up so I am working around those and then we can edit as we go. I gotta re-read this rubric..

Johanna - Awesome, glad we're getting in a rhythm. Let me know what you guys think of the layout and if you'd like to see any changes. Always option to new ideas and suggestions.

Lily @group - This is a good website for content on Digital Communication https://www.pewresearch.org/global/2011/12/20/global-digital-communication-texting-social-networking-popular-worldwide/

04/11/2020 @ 6pm

Johanna - Thanks for the content link, Lily! Good resource. I watched a video on how horrible Scorpios are today hahaha, I thought of all of you! (Sorry, Lily, I guess we're not well liked lol).

Lily -@Johnna - Oh no! Really - so the sting of the Scorpio is not good? lol. I think you and I will prove them wrong :)

Lily-@group Last night I started to add content in the digital Access page only because I know things are hard and I understand that we may not have been able to do these parts. I am happy to continue to throw things in for each section to help out. If anyone is opposed - just let me know.

04/13/2020

Johanna - Hi, all! Hope we're staying safe in this crazy weather. I haven't heard from some in a little while, is everyone doing ok? Thank you, Lily, for starting to Post some content! Does anyone need help?

Lily - I have not heard from anyone else? I am okay doing a bit more content - I am just afraid because I have not submitted this project yet for the week.

Johanna - I submitted last night with our progress thus far. I thought it was better than nothing. I am not sure if we are being graded on completion of our role's responsibilities or as a whole.I just checked my grade and she said everything needed for this week was there!

Lily - I will submit then too and ask Michele about the grades. If it is as a whole - I can work on a bit more content... Johanna - I emailed her explaining it - hopefully I still get credit for it!

Johanna - Hopefully! All of our submissions are the same either way, but I'm sure it's more than that. Let me know how it goes!

7:56pm (EST)

Britt - Hi all! Everything is well, just super tired. This rainy day was a day to rest & rejuvenate for the week... Our site is looking pretty good so far. I like that everything is staying consistent between each page! I am looking through the resource Lily provided and it looks really good! I am going to chose a few statistics that stick out to me and input them. I found another resource last week that did a great job explaining communication in the online world too! As for the submission, I think we are doing well. I too submitted a preview link and she responded to it saying everything is coming along well. @Lily, you mentioned wanting to add in some content? I know we have our "assigned" roles, but if something truly resonates or if it feels important to include, please feel free to do so! Def will not be stepping on my toes, I think that's what makes a good team!!

Johanna - Hey, Britt, if you ever need help locating content, I would be happy to help as well :)

4/13 8:50PM CST

Charzetta - Hi there,

I just thought I'd mention... because everyone may not have had the opportunity to look at Unit 6 yet, but there is another group assignment to create a video as a group. When you see it, you'll see, we are to each pick a topic from our wiki and create the video. I can take Digital Etiquette, which leaves...

Digital Access

Digital Communication

Dr. Herrera says to use our discussion area here on the wiki for the video project as well.

Johanna - I'll take Digital Access. However, there are 5 of us so there will be an overlap.

4/14 @ 12PM EST.

Mirinie- Hi All! I have looked at this week's assignment and had planned to also do a video on Digital Etiquette being this is the most content I provided on the subject. I will continue to provide content on this topic as I prepare the video. How does this sound? I think as a group it would be helpful if we can all pitch in on Digital Communication, what do you guys think? I think it will also be helpful for Britt and I? @Brittany. Also, are we to upload our videos to the page? I am opened to ideas and feel free to let me know if there is anything else I can do. We are almost there!

4/14 @ 11:55am CST

Charzetta - Hi Mirinie - It sounds like you have a lot of Digital Etiquette content, in order to keep the video from being to long, do you want to do this alone? If you have a lot of content and if you want, I can put the video together using the content you provide. I'm just trying to prevent overlapping and providing more content that you may already have. Just let me know what you want to do.

OR

If we are lacking in Digital Communication and I search for and/or put a video together. Just need to know which section or Digital Communication is needed so that I don't overlap on something that's already been done, or is being done.

TO the Group -

Maybe we can put our names next to an item below for Video?

***PLEASE THIS IS ONLY A SUGGESTION***

Digital Communication

Content - Lily

Create & Upload Video - Lily - Charzetta

Digital Access

Content

Create & Upload Video

Digital Etiquette

Content- Mirinie- I can get the content together for the video! Does this mean creating the Powerpoint @Charzetta and you voice over or do I provide content only and you put together video?

Create & Upload Video - Charzetta

I just need to know which way everyone wants to go...Thank you :-)

Brittany - I am a little confused about this video project. It says in the rubric, no longer than 60 seconds... so does that mean each of our videos need to be a minute, or do we have to create like a 20-30 second videos & then when we combine it.. it should be a minute?

Lily- I think from the rubric (if I am interpreting it right) that we are working as a team. So there are only 3 videos, but if two people want to "team" up - like if I provided someone with all the pictures they need? It seems like it would be confusing to combine two videos together...but as Charzetta was suggesting we could provide the content for the video, then one person could make it?

Britt- Ohhhh okay yeah that makes sense. Okay, so the video we are creating isn't like a webcam video? Idk why i'm not understanding the video portion. Let me go back look lol .. so basically we're creating a powerpoint with narration on our topic?

Lily - It's okay - I am confused too because we have several videos it seems like we are doing. I also thought it was a webcam! I was panicked...ha ha...I was wondering how I was going to do that. I saw Johanna posted something to the discussion area already - Yes. Just a PP with narration.

Mirinie- It is a little confusing @Britt and @Lily but glad to have each other and work through this! @Charzetta Great idea about the video, can you please look at what I have written above based on your suggestions and confirm. Thanks girls!

Charzetta- @Mirinie, if you send me the content, I can create the video. I actually do not like my recorded voice but we have to get this done, so... (8=0 Will it be the Digital Etiquette content? I'm asking so that I can keep things organized. @Lily if you send me the photos, I can create a video but if you would like to create videos for topic(s) as well, just let me know which topic(s) so that I don't overlap. I see you are on the Digital Communication one above.

Charzetta - my email is: cfzetta@gmail.com I'll ask Dr. Herrera where to upload the video. The instructions read: As a team, you will create three (3) one-minute video presentations; one to introduce each of the topics on your site. Each member of the team should prepare a video presentation with narration. You may use any presentation tool that you want. Oh, found it: Each presentation should provide a high level introductory overview to the topic on each page. Start your page out with this video to introduce the topic. Be sure to embed the video so it displays directly on the page. You will have to upload your completed videos to YouTube and then embed them onto your pages.

Lily- @Charzetta I think what might be easier is for me just to do the video for the "Digital Communication" as I can see you doing the video for Digital Etiquette. We should spread it out :) I don't want one person to do all the videos. If you and Mirinie are working together - then maybe@Britt can help me with the Digital Communication and Johanna has the Digital Access. Then we should be all set!

Lily@group Michele just posted this: Each member of the group should be creating a content video, and so it is fine if certain of the content pages contain more than one video. I've started the Digital Communication Video.

4/15 @ 1PM EST.

Mirinie- Hi Team, going off of what Lily mentioned. Our Professor posted each member of the group should be creating a content video. I take it then Charzetta and I will be creating one each for Digital Etiquette? This is what I will be working on. Just to let you guys know! Please let me know if there is anything else I can/should do! Hope you all are safe and well!

@4:49PM CST

Charzetta - @ Lily, okay sounds good to me. @Mirinie, okay yes...redundant but oh well.

04/16/2020 @ 12:45am

Johanna - Goodnight/morning. Let's all be sure that we are citing our information (this includes photos, videos, text, etc.), and that we are citing using correct format. If you have any questions about format, I'm happy to help! I will likely go in and make any updates myself towards the final due date.

@ 1am

Johanna - Do we need any help with content for digital etiquette? I wrote a blog post about digital etiquette, so I have some materials and sources! Just don't want to step on anyone's toes, so let me know what works best :)

4/17:

Britt - Hey, Johanna if you want add some things in that found important about digital etiquette, please feel free!!! I am going to go through each pages and edit some information. I think some parts are kind of long & wordy, so I want to edit some of the content & split it up so it doesn't seem so overwhelming/oversaturated. I plan to work on it tonight after work.

4/17:

Charzetta - @ Johanna, yes please feel free to add the information. Thank you.

4/18:

Britt: @Johanna if you have something on the development on digital etiquette that would be cool to share because a lot of what i'm finding is geared to the development of technology as a whole & how those rules . Maybe i'm not searching in the right space but I was also thinking about changing that section to maybe have some basic digital etiquette rules to follow ?

4/19 @ 11AM CST

Charzetta - Hi all...I'm happy we've made it to unit 7 :-) ! When you have a chance to look at Unit 7 you will see that one of us is suppose to add a link to the wiki for peer review. I'm sure we'll need to "publish" the site so others can see it. I would like to make a suggestion that we make a home page that is not our discussion page, have 2 separate pages? Usually websites do not have a discussion page as the home page, UNLESS of course, Dr. Herrera wants it to be this way. If it is okay, the new home page can be very simple with something like "Digital Citizenship" by Group 4 and our names, it in the center of the page. What do you all think

Johanna - @Charzetta, there is a home page (the page all wrote out bios on). If you scroll to the very top it's the first page titled 'home.'

Charzetta - @Johanna, yes - but typically the information on a home page is not a list of bios, it is an introduction to what a website is about. The bios should actually be a different page named something like "Group 4 Bios" or "Group 4 Profiles" instead of "Home". BUT this is just a suggestion, we can leave it as is because I don't think it will affect our grade. The Peer Review is coming up.

Johanna - I have added a little blurb at the top of the home page as well as a header before our bios. It's not a necessary part of the project, but let me know what you guys think. Also, fantastic video, @Lily! I know we weren't necessarily supposed to respond to discussion boards pertaining to the wikipage, but I had to commend you somewhere!

Whoever made the digital etiquette video, if you've posted your video elsewhere, would you mind please putting the link on the page? I can take care of embedding it :)

@Britt I read your comments giving permission to add to digital etiquette. I forgot to respond, but I did read them and begin researching! I have started to move around some things as well to help the flow and place information in better place.

Johanna - I have added a fair amount to the digital etiquette page (videos, images, content), and cited on the reference page (don't forget to add your citations!). Let me know what you think or if any of you need help with anything.

Also, I have gone ahead and added the link to the discussion due this Wednesday. I noticed another team posted, they aren't quite finished, and their discussion is included.

Charzetta - Hi everyone - Dr. Herrera, in the "Ask the Instructor" discussion, said to go ahead and click 'publish' here on the wiki site . @Johanna - In response to where you said, above: "whoever made the digital etiquette video..." I added the digital etiquette videos on the digital etiquette page, I didn't post it anywhere else but - the videos are embedded, the links are on the Digital etiquette page and referenced on the References page. I made the underlined words "Digital Etiquette" a link. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding what you asked above, let me know if I missed something.

Johanna - Charzetta, I published and posted in the discussion board for the group, so no worries there. I see the video there now, it was coming up on as photo on my end before! Must have been a glitch, so all good! Sorry for any confusion.

Charzetta - @Johanna, okay cool no problem...Looks like we are all good to go! :-)

Lily - @Johanna - Thank you for the compliment on the video! Everyone else's additions and videos look great too! I am happy that everything is coming along so well. Please let me know what I can do to help? I can add more content to any page if you need...just let me know!

Britt - Hi, sooo I realized I did the submission for Sunday wrong. I was supposed to add my video link to our page and then send it our professor, but I just sent her my video link lol. Where can I place it on the page Johanna? Also, my video was 3 minutes long, not 1 minute. Did you ladies crop your videos to make them shorter?

Charzetta - @Britt - No I didn't crop it, the little timer help me keep it close to 1 minute. @Everyone - after reviewing other sites, I am glad ours turned out so well. Kudos to everyone in our Group! :-)

Lily@group I agree Charzetta! Our website looks amazing! I will continue to work to fill in any missing areas - but we are a great place! Thank you to all for putting in this effort (especially with all that is going on in our world!)

04/25 @ 4:30pm

Johanna - I agree, our website looks really well put together. Not too overwhelming for the viewer. Should I comment this on our own discussion board post? lol Keep up the good work, everyone. Home stretch!

Lily - I filled in the last missing graphic - and deleted the "notes" we had left on one page. Then I just lined up a few text sections. I think we are done? Ready to submit! Good Luck everyone!

4/26 @ 11:46AM

Britt - Wow, yeah I agree. Our site is not too overwhelming for the viewer! I think we did a pretty good job! I made one change in Digital Etiquette but I hit publish so it should be up to date!

4/27 @11:56am CST

Charzetta - @Lily - I also think we are done. (8=D YEAH!
