Our most recent paper on the landscape of alterations in HR+ breast cancer prevention- and post-1L. We addressed challenges inherent to working with real world data, and validated our findings using clinical trial data.
I have now the opportunity to lead the group of Discovery Oncology Bioinformatics comprising 6 strong contributors to different efforts in research oncology. I am very honored to be able to have a strong impact on Genentech's research and pipeline.
A great collaborative work on the role of TEAD in resistance to KRAS G12C has been published in Nature Cancer. Using multiple technics, we demonstrated how upregulation of the Hippo pathway can lead the adaptive response to KRAS inhibition.
I had the chance to talk at the 32nd International Association for Breast Cancer Research Conference on our work leveraging real-world data to uncover changing in geneomic landscape following drug treatment.
I am honored to have been able to hire Yuxiang Zhang from Scripps Research Institute as Computational Scientist in our group. I am looking forward to work with him.
I was honored to be invited to give a talk at UCLA in the Department of Bioengineering.
Our work with Rocky Diegmiller on translating in vitro efficacy into tumor response has been published. It leveraged the GR method to improve response prediction.
I have been promoted to the role of Senior Principal Scientist following my contribution over the past 5 years at Genentech.
My latest paper on the effects of inavolisib on PI3Ka levels and activity in breast cancer cells. This shows the pre-clinical work on the latest generation of PI3Ka inhibitors.
My last postdoctoral work has been published. Thanks a lot to Caitlin Mills for pushing it across the finish line.
I presented 'Integrative Modeling of Drug Response that Can Accelerate Drug Discovery', as an invited talk at the ASPET Annual Meeting at Experimental Biology 2021
I presented ‘gDR suite: an integrative solution for handling cell line drug response data' as a selected talk at the MCBIOS and MAQC Joint 2021 Virtual Conference
A great work led by Jianzhu Ma in Tery Ideker's group to which I was happy to contribute has been published in Nature Cancer.
I presented ‘In vitro drug response done right: Collecting reliable data and Extracting meaningful results’ as part of the Systems Pharmacology course at the UCSF
I was invited at the LINCS symposium to give a talk on 'gDR suite: an integrative solution for handling cell line drug response data'
I am honored to have been able to hire Xiaosai Yao as Senior Scientist in our group. I am looking forward to work with her.
I presented ‘In vitro drug response done right: Collecting reliable data and Extracting meaningful results’ as part of the Systems Pharmacology course at the UCSF
More in the coming months hopefully!
Thanks to Prof. Jim Costello for inviting me at the Cancer Center Educations Series Talks.
A great study led by Ciara Metcalfe at Genentech published in Cell.
Thanks to Prof. Ranadip Pal and Omid Bazgir for the opportunity to visit Lubbock and present my work.
