Cabin Café is a free monthly social coffee morning for those living with dementia and their carers. Drop ins welcome. It will take place on Tuesday, March 10th from 10am to 12pm in The Woodford Dolmen Hotel in Carlow Town. Contact Margaret on 087 8380018 for more information.
Seed Library aims to encourage community food growing, reduce waste and support climate change across County Carlow. Grow Your Own Veg & Seed Library Introduction takes place at 11am on Saturday, March 21st and 28th in the Carlow Town Library. This is free to attend. St. Patrick's Day Parade in Tullow kicks off at 1pm on the Dublin Road. If you would like to register your group for the parade, DM Development Tullow Association on Facebook.
St. Patrick's Day Parade & Family Fun Day will take place from 2pm to 5pm. Parade starts at 3pm. The deadline for registering your group is Friday, March 6th. Register HERE.
Applications are now open for Carlow Creative Ireland Criunniú na nÓg Open Call 2026. Creative Ireland Carlow is inviting artists, creators, youth groups and community organisations to apply for funding to participate in a day of fun, free and creative activities. Queries can be emailed to croberts@carlowcoco.ie. Closing day is March 22nd 2026.
The Carlow Home Energy EXPO takes place on Wednesday, March 25th from 10:30am to 5pm in the Seven Oaks Hotel, Carlow. All homeowners are encouraged to drop in to learn how to make your home warmer, reduce energy costs and find out about grants and fundings. Admission is free but booking is recommended through HERE.
Applications are open for the Carlow County Library Service 2026 Bursary for Local History Publications. Grants of up to €3,000 are available for research leading to a publication relevant to the history of County Carlow. Guidelines and forms are available at library@carlowcoco.ie. Deadline is Tuesday, March 31st at 12pm.
