Join us for an interactive session exploring the progress of Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) and Open Educational Resources (OER) initiatives at Evergreen Valley College. This workshop will provide an update on EVC’s efforts to expand ZTC offerings and an opportunity for faculty to examine their own degree pathways. Through a hands-on activity, participants will assess how close their degree programs are to becoming ZTC and identify areas where OER integration could further reduce textbook costs. This session is designed to foster discussion, gather insights, and better understand the current landscape of ZTC at EVC.
Key Takeaway: Participants will gain a clearer understanding of EVC’s progress in OER/ZTC initiatives and explore how close their own degree pathways are to becoming ZTC, helping to identify gaps and opportunities for future development.
