Space Ship Mystery
A chosen brief on adaptation, the level design is based on the Warhammer 40k audio drama The Madness Within by Steve Lyons. The story follows one last remaining Space Marine on the hunt for the demon that decimated his everyone aboard his ship. The twist to the story is the demon was possesing the Space Marine all along, and it was him that killed everyone onboard.
This adaptation takes place after the main story, the player is a regular soldier, a survivor of the attack, searching through the ship to find answers to what happened.
The level design gives players an easy to follow path through the level, with lights guiding the way and bright characters and doors as points of interest.

Whalesong Park Monolith
Designed for the Monolith in Whalesong Park in Dundee next to the V&A Museum, Crab Dash is a mulitplayer minigame, inspired by early 80s sports games. Players mash the buttons to move the crab along the beach, the qucker the mashing, the quicker the movement. First crab across the finish line is the winner.
The game was designed after a visit to Whalesong park and observing the players of the Monolith. The game was designed to be suitable for children to play easily, but to give adults or enjoyers of retro games, something to enjoy also. A short simple game loop was necessary for retention, as the installation is outdoors and people may not have time to play a longer game.
