Assistant Professor (Fixed Term) at Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. MSc and BSc in Computer Engineering at University of Pernambuco (UPE, Brazil) and currently pursuing his PhD in Computer Science at Federal University of Pernambuco, Marcelo has been involved in different research projects and teaching activities since 2008. His interests include topics on Computational and Artificial Intelligence, such as Swarm Intelligence, Evolutionary Computation and Natural Language Processing.
