The history of Marceline girls wrestling started with the inaugural season of MSHSAA Girl's Wrestling in 2018-2019. With girls wrestling being new, Marceline was still able to react quickly with getting the girls sport passed and received great participation. Since the first season of girls wrestling, Marceline has been able to qualify several girls to state and earn state medals. What an accomplishment that is with MSHSAA still having the initial one class system for girl's wrestling.
