About Me

Hello, 

My name is Marcel Atto, I am in my last three semesters at Arizona State University, and I am pursuing a degree in elementary education. I currently tutor K-6 students in math and reading. As a future educator, I am committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment that empowers every student to achieve their fullest potential. My approach combines a passion for lifelong learning, evidence-based teaching strategies, and a deep respect for the diverse backgrounds and abilities of my students. By cultivating critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, I strive to prepare learners to thrive in an ever-changing world. My goal is to inspire curiosity, instill confidence, and nurture a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom. In my personal and work life, I am a very determined person; if I set my mind on something, it will get done. I am a very communicative person, I enjoy other people's company, and I am a problem-solver. With these abilities in mind, my interests tend to be related to human activity and art. I love doing puzzles, cooking, painting, helping others with homework, and having a simple movie night, as long as I can laugh and have a good time with good company.
