Marc has long valued education, particularly in his own life. After earning his bachelor’s and postgraduate degrees, he has decided to continue to acquire skills and knowledge to make himself a more effective advocate and skilled facilitator of solutions. His ability to maintain keen focus, organization and prioritization makes him able to tackle even the most demanding challenges.
In light of his longtime interest in the wilderness and environmental issues, Marc Dumont earned his Environmental Monitoring Certificate through the University of Northern British Columbia, attained his certification as a drone pilot, completed his Alberta Trappers’ Association Standard Trappers’ Education Course, and is currently working toward his graduation and Beaver Institute Professional Training Certificate of Completion from the Beaver Institute, in order to become a professional beaver control specialist.
