After high school, Marc pursued a Bachelor of Science in BusineBusinesse University of Vermont, graduating in 1999. Initial Career in Finance
Following his graduation, Marc Korenberg moved to New York City to begin his career in Finance with UBS Investment Bank. As part of the corporate finance team, his performance quickly earned him recognition. He worked closely with senior consultants to develop pitch books and presentation strategies, further honing his skills in financial analysis and strategy development.
Marc was poised for a significant career advancement in investment banking, but the tragic events of September 11, 2001, profoundly affected him. The loss of individuals he knew personally motivated him to seek a more meaningful role. As a result, he left his career in investment banking behind and enlisted in the United States Army.
Marc’s decision to enlist in the Army marked a pivotal chapter in his life. He completed Infantry school, then went to Airborne Paratrooper jump school and Special Forces training. He was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper until 2005. His military service taught him invaluable lessons in leadership, discipline, and teamwork, principles that would later guide him in his business endeavors.
Marc's time in the Army gave him a more profound sense of purpose and a broadened worldview. These experiences, combined with the strong work ethic instilled during his military service, set the stage for the next phase of his career.
After completing his service, Marc returned to West Chester, Pennsylvania, where he joined his family. Around this time, he discovered a new passion for motorcycles, which had developed during his military career. When the opportunity arose to work at a family-owned motorcycle dealership in Bear, Delaware, he eagerly seized the chance.
Initially working in the sales department, Marc quickly leveraged his financial background from his previous roles to transition into a finance position. His ability to manage the business led to his promotion to General Manager of Sales and Finance. This role allowed him to apply his strategic thinking and leadership skills in a different context, and he helped drive the dealership’s success while also gaining new insights into business management.
Although Marc enjoyed his time in the motorcycle industry, he remained focused on returning to the finance world. After completing his MBA at Keller Graduate School of Management, he took a significant step by joining Zeltiq Aesthetics in Pleasanton, California, as a Business and Financial Analyst.
At Zeltiq, Marc’s role expanded as he quickly rose through the ranks. He was promoted to Director of Commercial Operations, overseeing business intelligence, data analysis, customer service, marketing operations, and sales teams. His leadership at Zeltiq earned him further recognition, and he was eventually named Director of Finance and Operations.

He played a crucial role in the integration process, ensuring the smooth transition of international operations. His efforts were recognized with the CEO Award for Excellence, cementing his reputation as a leader capable of managing complex organizational changes.
In 2018, Marc moved to Revance Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotech company. He was tasked with leading the company through a significant transition from clinical operations to commercial operations. Over the years, he took on multiple roles, including Senior Vice President of Operations, where he worked alongside finance and operations departments to build and optimize business processes.
In late 2023, Marc was appointed Deputy to the CFO, a position that allowed him to play a more direct role in the company’s financial operations. He also managed key departments, including manufacturing and supply chain, and contributed significantly to the company’s strategic initiatives. As Senior Vice President of Finance, he is guiding Revance through an essential merger with Crown Laboratories, where his expertise is crucial to managing the deal's financial aspects.
Outside of work, Marc remains passionate about sports. A lifelong fan of the Boston Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins, his love for sports has been a constant throughout his life. During his youth, he was active in sports, playing soccer and basketball, and he continued pursuing athletic activities like snowboarding and horseback riding.
Marc is also a certified animal lover who once considered a career in veterinary medicine before deciding to pursue business with various charitable organizations, including the ASPCA, the Nashville Wine Auction’s cancer research campaign, and The Gratitude Network.
