Soon available in the shared folder is a fun top piece for your towers! To the moon and beyond!
In other news: Failed 3D-prints gets baked to new plates, lasercut into staves and made into Marble rails!
Lasercut 4 of these shapes and assemble a bottom module. The Bottom module solves two issues:
1. It gives the tower of vertical modules a place to land - otherwise you would have to lift the whole tower to pick up the marble. It also creates an opportunity to build a cool pick up bowl or rail for marbles.
2. It adds stability to the tower
Find them in the shared folder for 3mm and 4mm
The modules took a trip to Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Two days of tinkering fun. Again it proved to be a good activity for families working on project together.
The waiting time is over! Take your MMM to the next level with this 90 degree module. Going horizontal is a great challenge!
Included in the file is also foot / rest for the module. All files are set with a cutting kerf of 0,15mm... enjoy!
I have tested MMM with 3mm HDF and it is stable enough to work with, Birch plywood or similar would be even better. The files have been added to the shared drive folder here. Request access today and start cutting!
Next is to get the 90 degree module into 3mm as well...coming up... in a month or two. Summer is coming!
