What is the Marauder Fund?
The MFSIA is an investment association open to all Millersville University students interested in learning about personal finance, financial markets, economics, and investing.
It provides students the opportunity to invest real money from the endowment to create and manage a stock portfolio, The Marauder Fund.
Events and activities will focus on facilitating and enhancing learning on topics related to financial markets including saving and investing, insurance markets, corporate finance, financial market regulation, business ethics, fiscal and monetary policy, financial and managerial accounting models, and career development in financial services.
Students will be able to draw expertise from experienced professionals in the financial services field. Great professional networking opportunities.

General Membership
General membership is open to all current Millersville University students at the beginning of each semester. General members can apply for junior analyst status which is required for advancement to senior analyst status. Senior analysts have voting rights on the MF’s portfolio management team and have opportunities to serve on the Executive Committee (See Section V of Bylaws for definition of the Executive Committee).
New Analyst Application Process
All members shall be enrolled students at Millersville University.
All prospective analysts must fill out the official MFSIA application to be reviewed by the Executive Committee or the Recruitment Team of the Executive Committee
Applicants will be approved by the Executive Committee based on the following criteria:
Academic performance (GPA > 2.70)
Minimum of 12 credit hours earned that count toward your GPA
Additional information used to identify potential new analysts but not required:
Proven dedication with other student or community organizations, including leadership
Appropriate coursework
General interest in the financial services industry
