The researchers involved in this study are a group of students from the Ateneo de Zamboanga University - School of Medicine. As part of their academic requirements, they have been assigned to Barangay Milagrosa, which is located in the Municipality of Alicia. Their deployment to this community is part of a comprehensive community immersion program designed to provide them with hands-on experience in understanding the health needs and challenges of local populations. This immersion offers an opportunity for the students to engage with the community while applying their medical knowledge in real-world settings.
