Mar & Tierra Tours is a family project born in the heart of Puerto Jiménez and La Palma, founded by Franciny Fallas and senior naturalist guide Leo Barrientos, who brings over 25 years of experience exploring and interpreting the unique ecosystems of the Osa Peninsula. Deeply rooted in local heritage as descendants of the region's early pioneers—brave gold miners whose history was captured in the documentary "Oro y Verdes Bosques"—we transform that legacy and passion for conservation into an exclusive, boutique tourism experience guided with care, safety, and a deep respect for the environment.
