Akhy Tech ("we") provides the Maqra mobile application (the "Service").
This Privacy Policy explains how Maqra handles user data. Maqra is designed to work locally on your device and to protect your privacy.
Maqra does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
We do not use:
- analytics
- advertising SDKs
- tracking SDKs
- cloud sync
- user accounts
- location tracking
- contact access
- third-party data sharing
Maqra asks for microphone permission only so you can record your Quran recitation.
Your audio recordings are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to any server or shared with third parties by the app.
You can delete recordings inside the app. You can also remove all local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app storage from your device settings.
Maqra may store local data on your device, such as:
- selected reciter profiles
- recording progress
- completed surahs
- local audio files created by you
- export files generated by you
This data stays on your device unless you choose to export or share files yourself using your device features.
Maqra includes Quran text and surah information inside the app package. This content is used only to display the verse corresponding to each recording.
Maqra is suitable for a general audience, including children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults.
Because audio recordings may include a user's voice, Maqra keeps recordings local on the device.
Maqra keeps local recordings and progress data on your device until you delete them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy if Maqra changes how it handles data. Any updates will be published on this page.
