### A. Location Information
MapSnap is a GPS timestamp camera application.
* **GPS Coordinates & Address Data:** The App accesses your device's precise location (GPS and network-based coordinates) to append accurate timestamps, location coordinates, and map images directly to the photos you capture.
* **Access Scope:** Location data is accessed while using the App (foreground) to render coordinates and map overlays on captured photos.
### B. Camera & Photos
* **Camera Access:** We require permission to access your device's camera to enable photo capture within the App.
* **Storage/Media Library Access:** We require permission to read and write to your device's external storage or photo gallery to save the photos you capture and to load them inside the App's gallery screen.
### C. Account & Profile Information
* **Authentication Data:** When you create an account or log in (using email and password or Google Sign-In) to join or create groups, we collect your email address, user ID (UID), and profile name.
* **Group Affiliations:** We store details about the groups you create or join to facilitate photo sharing and team reporting.
### D. Device and Notification Data
* **FCM Registration Tokens:** We collect and store Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens associated with your account in our database to route notifications (such as group reports or account security actions) to your device.
* **Single-Device Session Tokens:** To enforce our single-device login policy, we store active token associations to log out older sessions when a new device logs in.

## 2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
* **Core Functionality:** To capture photos with embedded GPS locations, anti-tamper authenticity verification codes, and time overlays.
* **Group Management & Reporting:** To allow members to link captured photos to team groups, and to notify the group owner/admin of new submissions.
* **Subscription & Licensing:** To verify Google Play Store active purchases and billing status (MapSnap Plus).
* **Security & Invalidation:** To enforce single-device active logins and prevent unauthorized account access.
* **Advertising:** To display non-intrusive banner, interstitial, and app open advertisements via Google AdMob (for free-tier users).

## 3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:
* **Group Owners/Admins:** If you link or report a photo to a group, the group owner/admin will have visibility of the captured metadata (anti-tamper code, capture time, location details, and sender UID).
* **Third-Party Service Providers:** We integrate trusted third-party SDKs to support our features:
* **Firebase Authentication:** Managed authentication and secure sign-in.
* **Firebase Realtime Database:** Synchronization of group activity feeds and anti-tamper codes.

* **Google Play Billing:** In-app purchase processing.

You have control over the data you share with MapSnap:
* **Permissions Revocation:** You can revoke Location, Camera, and Storage permissions at any time through your device settings. Doing so may limit your access to the App's core features.
* **Account Deletion:** You can request account deletion at any time. When an account is deleted, your user profile, active FCM tokens, and associated group memberships will be permanently deleted from our Firebase database. To request data deletion, contact us at the support email provided below.
