本プライバシーポリシーは、Chrome拡張機能「Google Maps on Uber Eats」（以下「本拡張機能」）におけるユーザーデータの取り扱いについて説明するものです。
本拡張機能は、Uber Eatsの店舗一覧ページおよび店舗詳細ページから、店舗をGoogle Mapsで簡単に確認できるようにするためのツールです。
本拡張機能は、店舗名や利用可能な位置情報を利用してGoogle Mapsへの検索リンクを提供します。
また、ユーザーが任意で自身のGoogle Places APIキーを設定し、「評価とレビュー件数を表示」機能を有効にした場合、Google Places APIを利用して店舗のGoogle Maps評価およびレビュー件数を表示できます。
本拡張機能は、機能を提供するために必要な範囲で、以下の情報をユーザーのブラウザ上で処理する場合があります。
本拡張機能は、対応するUber Eatsページ上に表示されている以下のような情報を読み取る場合があります。
店舗名
店舗住所または利用可能な所在地情報
店舗を特定するために利用可能な地域情報
これらの情報は、Google Maps検索リンクの生成および、任意のGoogle Places APIによる店舗検索・照合のために使用されます。
本拡張機能は、Uber Eatsの閲覧履歴を収集または保存することを目的としていません。
ユーザーが評価・レビュー件数表示機能を利用する場合、ユーザー自身のGoogle Places APIキーを入力できます。
APIキーはユーザーの端末上の chrome.storage.local に保存されます。
APIキーが本拡張機能の開発者が運営するサーバーに送信されることはありません。
以下のような設定情報をユーザーの端末上に保存する場合があります。
評価・レビュー件数表示の有効または無効
国または地域の設定
任意の配達エリアのヒント
店舗名のマッチング設定
1ページあたりの評価取得回数の上限
その他、本拡張機能の動作に必要な設定
同じ店舗についてGoogle Places APIへの検索を繰り返すことを減らすため、照合されたGoogle Place IDをユーザーの端末上に保存する場合があります。
ユーザーは本拡張機能の設定から、保存された店舗とPlace IDの対応情報を削除できます。
Google Places APIキーを設定していない場合、または「評価とレビュー件数を表示」機能が無効の場合、本拡張機能はGoogle Mapsへの通常の検索リンクを生成します。
この状態では、本拡張機能がバックグラウンドでGoogle Places APIへ自動的にリクエストを送信することはありません。
ユーザーがGoogle Mapsへのリンクを選択した場合は、通常のWebリンクと同様にGoogle Mapsが新しいタブで開きます。
以下の両方の条件を満たした場合にのみ、本拡張機能はGoogle Places APIへ自動的にリクエストを送信します。
ユーザー自身のGoogle Places APIキーが設定されていること
「評価とレビュー件数を表示」機能が有効になっていること
この場合、店舗を検索・照合するために必要な以下の情報が、ユーザーのブラウザからGoogle Places APIへ直接送信される場合があります。

国、地域または配達エリアに関する検索ヒント
これらの情報が、本拡張機能の開発者が運営するサーバーを経由することはありません。
Google Places APIに送信された情報については、Googleによるデータの取り扱いおよびGoogleの利用規約・プライバシーポリシーが適用されます。
Google Places APIから取得したGoogle Mapsの評価およびレビュー件数は、Uber Eatsページ上に表示するために使用されます。
これらの評価およびレビュー件数を、本拡張機能が永続的に保存することはありません。
ただし、Google Places APIへの不要な再検索を減らすため、対応するGoogle Place IDをローカルに保存する場合があります。
本拡張機能は、GPSなどを使用してユーザーの正確な現在地を取得することを目的としていません。
ただし、店舗を適切に検索・照合するため、以下の位置関連情報を処理する場合があります。
Uber Eatsページに表示される店舗住所または地域情報
ユーザーが選択した国または地域
ユーザーが任意で入力した都市、地区などの配達エリアのヒント
これらの情報は、Google Maps検索またはGoogle Places APIによる店舗照合のためにのみ使用されます。
本拡張機能の設定、Google Places APIキー、および保存対象となるGoogle Place IDなどは、Chromeの chrome.storage.local を使用してユーザーの端末上に保存されます。
本拡張機能の開発者は、これらの情報を保存するための外部サーバーを運営していません。
ユーザーが保存データを本拡張機能の設定から削除した場合、または本拡張機能をChromeから削除した場合、対象となるローカルデータは削除されます。

評価・レビュー件数表示機能をユーザーが有効にした場合、店舗を検索するために必要な情報がGoogle Places APIへ送信されます。
これは、本拡張機能のユーザーが明示的に有効にした機能を提供するためにのみ行われます。
本拡張機能は、その機能として以下の情報を収集することを目的としていません。
氏名
メールアドレス
電話番号
個人識別番号
健康情報
支払い情報またはクレジットカード情報
個人的なメール、チャットまたはその他の通信内容
ユーザーの閲覧履歴

本拡張機能の主要目的と無関係な目的でユーザーデータを使用すること

This Privacy Policy explains how the Chrome extension “Google Maps on Uber Eats” (“the Extension”) handles user data.
The Extension is designed to make it easier to check restaurant and store information on Google Maps while browsing supported Uber Eats store listing and store detail pages.
The Extension generates Google Maps search links using store names and available location information.
Users may also optionally provide their own Google Places API key and enable the “Show ratings and review counts” feature to display Google Maps ratings and review counts directly on Uber Eats.
The Extension may process the following information in the user's browser only to the extent necessary to provide its features.
The Extension may read information displayed on supported Uber Eats pages, including:
Store names
Store addresses or other available location information
Regional information that may help identify a store
This information is used to generate Google Maps search links and, when enabled by the user, to search for and match stores using the Google Places API.
The Extension is not designed to collect or maintain a history of websites visited by the user.
Users who choose to use the ratings and review count feature may enter their own Google Places API key.
The API key is stored locally on the user's device using chrome.storage.local.
The API key is not sent to any server operated by the Extension developer.
The Extension may store settings locally on the user's device, including:
Whether ratings and review counts are enabled
Selected country or region
Optional delivery area hints
Store matching preferences
Maximum number of rating lookups per page
Other settings required for the Extension to operate
To reduce repeated Google Places API searches for the same store, the Extension may locally save a matched Google Place ID.
Users may clear saved store-to-Place ID mappings through the Extension's settings.
If no Google Places API key is configured, or if the “Show ratings and review counts” option is disabled, the Extension generates standard Google Maps search links.
In this mode, the Extension does not automatically send background requests to the Google Places API.
When a user selects a Google Maps link, Google Maps opens in a new browser tab in the same manner as a standard web link.
The Extension automatically sends requests to the Google Places API only when both of the following conditions are met:
The user has configured their own Google Places API key; and
The user has enabled the “Show ratings and review counts” feature.
When these conditions are met, information necessary to search for and match a store may be sent directly from the user's browser to the Google Places API, including:
The user's Google Places API key
Store name
Available store address
Country, region, or delivery-area search hints
This information does not pass through a server operated by the Extension developer.
Information sent to the Google Places API is subject to Google's own terms, policies, and privacy practices.
Google Maps ratings and review counts returned by the Google Places API are used to display store information on Uber Eats.
The Extension does not permanently store returned ratings or review counts.
A corresponding Google Place ID may be stored locally to reduce unnecessary repeated store searches.
The Extension is not designed to obtain the user's precise current location through GPS or similar device-location services.
However, the Extension may process location-related information for store search and matching purposes, including:
Store address or area information displayed on Uber Eats
A country or region selected by the user
An optional city, district, or delivery-area hint entered by the user
This information is used only to improve Google Maps searches or Google Places API store matching.
Extension settings, the user's Google Places API key, and saved Google Place IDs are stored locally on the user's device using Chrome's chrome.storage.local.
The Extension developer does not operate an external server for storing this information.
Locally stored Extension data is removed when the user clears it through the Extension where such controls are available, or when the Extension is removed from Chrome.
The Extension does not send user data to a server operated by the Extension developer.
The Extension does not include functionality for:
Developer-operated user behavior analytics or tracking
Collection of browsing history
Advertising-based user profiling
Sale of user data
Use of user data for creditworthiness or lending decisions
The Extension does not sell user data.
The Extension does not transfer user data to third parties for purposes unrelated to the Extension's primary functionality.
When the user enables the ratings and review count feature, information necessary to search for a store is sent to the Google Places API.
This transfer occurs only to provide a feature explicitly enabled by the user.
The Extension is not designed to collect the following information as part of its functionality:
Names
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Personal identification numbers
Health information
Payment or credit card information
Personal emails, chats, or other private communications
Browsing history
Keystrokes, mouse activity, or similar behavioral logs
The Extension does not:
Sell user data
Use user data for purposes unrelated to the Extension's primary purpose
Use user data for advertising targeting
Use user data for creditworthiness or lending decisions
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the Extension's functionality, data-handling practices, or applicable requirements change.
When material changes are made, this page and the “Last Updated” date will be updated accordingly.
