Hi there, Recently I have been thinking about getting into mapping as a hobby. I have some land I want to map trails on(utilizing ground based GPS) and make a map more detailed than Google Earth, and create some maps for of where I work(25 acre campground, not being paid, but provides a great place to learn). I currently fly a mavic mini 2, which I know isn't the best for this type of work, but I still want to learn and maybe upgrade in the future. I have settled for now on Maps Made Easy or WebODM. Both seem to be the same price for the base/download. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hello everyone! I'm new in this world of photogrammetry, so I don't know much about softwares for drone mapping. Basically, I need a software for creating 2D maps and 3D models from drone images. I have DJI Air 2S and I'm going to start a business in couple months. I don't have money for buying Pix4Dmapper, neither for monthly subscription. That's why I'm asking if MME can be used for my purposes, if it has professional quality of maps and models. I want to work with construction monitoring, mapping and modelling services, photogrammetric vegetation encroachment services AND real estate, that's why Air 2S was my choice.

Just few hours later, an e-mail was waiting for me in my inbox, with a URL for my finished map. Operated just like maps.google.com or maps.bing.com with grab-to-move, scroll-to-zoom, and a small set of un-obstructive manual zoom controls, my aerial map, far more detailed than anything I was able to export from PTGui (with only 16GB RAM and ordinary graphics processors) is easy to navigate at any zoom level.

Tudor: Initially, we will only be offering output as hosted map tiles (similar to Google Maps) and providing code snippets and iFrame embed codes to allow users to share their output. Through iFrame use, commercial users will be able to share created maps in forums, blogs and on their own sites without restriction.
