Rogaine Courses

A 4 hour virtual rogaine around the Mt Ainslie - Mt Majura reserves and suburbs. Start and finish is at the gate at the south end of Phillip Avenue, Hackett, near the junction with Kellaway Street . A 3 hour virtual rogaine around Black Mountain and surrounding suburbs. Start and finish at the end of Frith Rd, CSIRO Black Mountain. This course was originally published as a practice course for Inward Bound entrants in 2020. Unfortunately we do not currently have a list of control descriptions, this is being worked on.

A 4 hour virtual rogaine around Jerrabomberra and Queanbeyan reserves and suburbs. Start and finish at the Big Blue “The Scar” sign at entrance to car park on Southbar Rd, Queanbeyan. A 6 hour virtual rogaine around Kowen Forest. Start and finish at the end of Sparrow Hill Road, off Kings Highway between Queanbeyan and Bungendore. This course was originally run as a night/day/cycle event on 14/15 Aug 2020, and then as a virtual rogaine 17 Aug to 5 Oct 2020. A 3 hour virtual rogaine around Mt Rogers and surrounding suburbs. Park in the carpark at the end of Wickens Place, Fraser. Start and finish at the engraved Mt Rogers sign on the rock by the end of the carpark. This course was formally scheduled for Sat 30 May to Mon 8 June 2020. A 4-hour rogaine in Western Creek, including bush areas in the Molonglo River corridor, Mount Stromlo, Narrabundah Hill and Cooleman Ridge, as well as the suburbs from Denman Prospect to Fisher. The start location is at Duffy Oval, right in the centre of the map, which gives you lots of options for course planning, especially if you want to enter multiple times.  The course was formally scheduled from Sat 28 May to Mon 13 June 2022. A 4-hour rogaine including The Pinnacle, Mount Painter, Aranda Bushlands and Black Mountain nature reserves, plus the suburbs of Weetangera, Macquarie, Cook and Aranda. The start location is at the entrance to Aranda Bushlands Nature Reserve off Bindubi Street, near the centre of the map. The course is formally scheduled to run from Sat 27 May to Mon 12 June 2023.
