General Information:
There is a gas grill for your use. There are many quality dining establishments within a short walking distance. There is a Superfresh (grocery store) and CVS (drug store) within walking distance, just a few blocks north at on Delaware Ave. There is also a Kmart, Walmart, and other stores just over the Rio Grande bridge at the Route 47/Route 9 intersection.
Please note that Wildwood beaches are free, and there is a lifeguard present in the daytime during the summer. Free fireworks are on Friday nights. The house is 6.5 blocks from the boardwalk and beach. The home is located on the west side of Maple Ave, which makes it a quiet, peaceful area. Maple Ave is right between two of Morey’s Piers and water parks on the boardwalk. There is a Dunkin’ Donuts on the boardwalk at Wildwood Ave, two blocks south of Maple. Maple Ave is located between two water parks; one on Schellenger Ave and one on 26th Avenue. Whether you walk, ride a bike, or take the boardwalk’s Tramcar, you’ll enjoy exploring the boardwalk.
If you like boats, you may look into the wave runner & boat rentals available on bayside, deep sea fishing and whale/dolphin watching trips also go out daily.
In the event of rain, there is still plenty to do. There is a movie theater at 3801 Route 9 South in Rio Grande, NJ. There phone number is (609) 889-4799. Gateway Casino is located a few blocks up the boardwalk on 26th Ave. The boardwalk arcades, Parkplace Family Entertainment Center, and indoor miniature golf courses can keep everyone busy. There are a variety of shops in the area as well.
