I am a Ph.D. candidate in Global Health at the School of Social Sciences and Technology of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Before joining the TUM, I studied at the Georg-August University of Goettingen, where I obtained my master's degree in Development Economics. I hold a B.Sc. in Economics from the Westminster International University in Tashkent. Throughout my studies, I worked as a short-term consultant at the World Bank Group Prosperity-ECA-POV Equity department, as a consultant at the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie), as a research assistant at the Chair of Development Economics/Center for Modern Indian Studies in Göttingen, and at the Institute of Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research in Uzbekistan.
Currently, I am involved in research projects and teaching at the Professorship of Global Health. My research interests are gender inequality and health, development, poverty, and inequality. Specifically, I focus on the cultural determinants of intra-household child development and care disparities.
