Kevin Manzanarez is running to represent every corner of Siler City. His campaign is centered on community strength, infrastructure investment, and keeping Siler City a place people want to live, work, and stay.

1. Fix What's Holding Us Back, Infrastructure That Works for Everyone
"Siler City’s infrastructure is outdated, and our wastewater system continues to limit new growth under a building moratorium. I will fight for the investments needed to modernize our water and sewer systems, lift the moratorium, and open the door for new homes, businesses, and opportunities."
- Prioritize transparency and accountability in fixing Siler City’s water treatment system.
- Advocate for immediate improvements to protect the health of families and restore community trust.
- Seek state and federal funding to modernize infrastructure without burdening residents.
- Push for proactive, not reactive, maintenance and communication on infrastructure projects.
2. Protect Affordable Housing
"With new companies moving in and growth on the rise, housing prices are climbing quickly. Growth should benefit everyone, not push residents out. I am committed to keeping housing affordable and accessible for families, seniors, and workers from all walks of life — so everyone can continue to call Siler City home."
-Champion mixed-income housing developments that reflect Siler City’s economic diversity.
- Partner with nonprofit and private developers to preserve affordability while expanding options.
- Protect longtime residents from displacement by supporting housing stabilization efforts and tax relief for elders and low-income families.
3. Keep Our Youth Local
"Too many young people feel they have to leave Siler City to succeed. I want to change that. By building partnerships with schools, local businesses, and community organizations, I will expand access to jobs, mentorship, and leadership opportunities — giving our youth a reason to stay, grow, and lead right here in our community."

- Work with local businesses, schools, and job-training programs to create career pathways in trades, technology, and education.
