Welcome!

I am Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier's Maritime Transport Research (MARTRA).

I am also Full Professor in the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences in the Strome College of Business. My research focuses on maritime & supply chain analytics, for which I have been named a top 10 researcher, globally, in a recent peer reviewed study*. I am also honored to have been named by Stanford University as one of the top 2% most cited scientists in the world. 

I serve on the AEP40 Committee of the Transportation Research Board (a division of the U.S. National Academies), and have led research and consulting projects for a range of customers, including the Virginia Port Authority, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and private companies.
