About Me
I was born in India and my mother tongue is Tamil. I migrated to the USA in 1973. Though I had a bachelor’s and master’s degree in agriculture, I switched field for better employment opportunity after coming to the USA. I graduated with honors in Health Information Management from the Medical College of Virginia and was employed in hospitals. Later, I was hired as one of the Managers of Dalkon Shield Insurance Trust set up by the Fourth District Court of Virginia. After about nine years with the Trust, I went back to a local community college and got an associate degree in Early Childhood Education. This helped me to own and operated a child daycare center for seven years. For about three years I also taught Earth Science, Physical Sciences, and Biology in a local high school. After retirement, currently, I am volunteering my time as the Pastor of Richmond Tamil Christian Fellowship in Richmond, VA. I am married and living with my wife in Chesterfield, VA from 1987. I have two sons and four grand kids.
