General Information
We use MATLAB throughout the courses with major focus on the following packages: Statistics and Maschine Learning, Optimization, Econometrics, Financial, Financial Instruments.
You might also want to get the datafeed and curve fitting toolbox but they are not essential for the courses.
Do not buy the MATLAB student version as this offer does not cover all the packages above.
There are some free alternatives like Octave but it has some small differences in the programming language and I only provide the MATLAB code.
