Outreach

Manuel enjoys sharing his research and talking about trees in outreach activities 

with elementary, middle, and high school students. Manuel has designed hands-on activities to showcase my research projects.

• Participate in “Career Day 2022” by the Fairchild Challenge and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.

• I wrote the paper "How old are trees? and how fast do they grow? "for kids between 12 and 15 years old currently under review in Frontiers for Young Minds with illustrations by Elizabeth Builes (@mira.pal.cielo)
