Cover: In article number 2425154, Manuela Garnica, Miguel Angel Valbuena, and co-workers present a graphene–tellurium–iridium heterostructure as an integrated chip platform, from which a gapped Dirac cone emerges, representing the engineered spin–orbit coupling-induced bandgap. Spin-polarized edge currents encircling the chip evoke the presence of edge states and spin polarization consistent with a quantum spin Hall scenario, highlighting the potential of this heterostructure for future electronic and spintronic devices.
