Originally from Colombia, I moved to France to pursue advanced studies, first in Development Economics at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, followed by Data Science at the University of Paris-Saclay. Along this academic path, I’ve cultivated a deep passion for economic research, particularly in the areas of inequality, spatial economics, and sustainable development.
My professional roles, including my current position at the World Inequality Lab within the Paris School of Economics and prior work at the OECD, have further fueled my commitment to using data analysis as a tool for addressing global economic challenges. These experiences have given me a profound understanding of how data can drive meaningful change on the international stage.
Outside of work, I’m an avid traveler, exploring new cultures with a curiosity shaped by my love for history. I enjoy diving into the particularities of the places I visit, often through the lens of the books and articles I’ve read about them. In my free time, I love walking through the vibrant streets of Paris, always on the lookout for fresh perspectives and new experiences.
